On December 23, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dak Lak province informed that in 2024, the province's functional agencies created jobs for 30,350 people (reaching 100.5% of the plan). Of which, 1,700 people were exported.
According to the assessment, in 2024, the labor market situation in the province is stable. Enterprises operating in the garment and textile sectors have high recruitment needs.
Enterprises from other provinces come to coordinate with the authorities to recruit more workers. From there, the employment needs of a large part of the province's labor force, especially ethnic minorities, are solved.
Ms. Vu Thi My Phuong - Deputy Head of the Department of Labor, Employment and Vocational Education (Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Dak Lak province) said: "In 2024, the Provincial Employment Service Center coordinated with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize many job fairs, job days...
Such methods have contributed to effectively implementing the tasks and targets of creating jobs for workers in the area in 2024."
According to Ms. Phuong, in 2025, local authorities aim to create jobs for 30,300 people, of which 2,500 will be exported.
To do this, units will promote information, propaganda, and mobilization work to raise awareness among workers about proactively and actively finding jobs or creating suitable jobs.
"People should not be picky about jobs, lazy to work, and not expect or rely on support policies from the Party and State," said Ms. Phuong.
