The workshop was organized to help schools and some corporations exchange and share information and experiences on recruitment, training, and job placement for students after graduation; implementing policies for teachers as well as school union activities in the current context.
Grasp the situation of recruitment and use of labor of enterprises, especially labor from training schools in the industry; training needs; grasp the labor needs of enterprises in the coming time, especially labor trained from schools in the industry; requirements on labor quality when recruiting for work of enterprises.
At the workshop, delegates discussed and shared experiences on enrollment; improving training quality; solving employment problems for students after graduation; innovating grassroots trade unions, participating in implementing the school's political tasks; caring for life, implementing policies; sharing information on labor needs; recruitment, employment, remuneration and requirements of the unit on labor quality of students and new graduates; recommendations and suggestions of the unit for training schools in the industry.
Concluding the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, affirmed: The workshop provided useful information, valuable experiences and specific proposals to improve the quality of training, create a bridge between training institutions and businesses, and meet the increasing demands of the labor market.
“The results from this workshop will be a solid foundation for the continued development of the construction industry in the coming time, achieving new successes and contributing to the cause of national construction. In addition, through the workshop, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union will synthesize, research and direct adjustments to adapt to the new situation in all levels of trade unions in the industry,” said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union suggested that in the coming time, the units continue to closely coordinate and support each other to perfect training models, fully and promptly meeting the needs of businesses and society.
Trade unions at all levels need to continue to strongly promote the role of trade unions in participating in implementing the political tasks of the unit; taking care of the lives and implementing policies for union members and workers.
“Innovation in operating methods, combined with practical training policies, will not only improve the quality of human resources but also contribute to promoting the sustainable development of the construction industry in the future,” the Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union emphasized.
