On June 24, Mr. Bui Van Truong - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT Co., Ltd. (Van Trung, Bac Ninh) said that in order to improve the care and protection of health and safety for workers and build a sustainable working environment, recently, the grassroots Trade Union in coordination with the Labor Relations Department of Luxshare-ICT Co., Ltd. (Van Trung) and Yamaha Motor Vietnam organized the "Safe Driving Skills Training" program.
Mr. Truong said that recently, the situation of collisions and traffic accidents involving workers using motorbikes and motorbikes on the road to work has tended to become complicated.
Identifying the main cause as lacking workers' skills to handle emergencies, the Trade Union and the Company's Board of Directors have proactively developed risk prevention plans from the root.
The "Safe Driving Skills Training" program is implemented not only to propagate laws but also to equip practical skills, helping union members and workers raise self-protection awareness when participating in traffic.
At the program, safe driving experts from Yamaha Motor Vietnam directly trained workers through two key contents:
Studying theory and practicing on the sail: Officials and employees are guided in detail on standard driving posture; observation skills, risk prediction; braking and steering techniques for safety in complex traffic conditions. Direct practice on the sail helps students confidently apply to real-life situations.
Free motorbike inspection and maintenance: This is one of the activities that received the most enthusiastic response. Hundreds of vehicles of workers have been comprehensively inspected by technicians (brake systems, tires, headlights, batteries... ).
In particular, workers are also given free engine oil changes and advice on how to maintain vehicles. This activity is both materially supportive and directly reduces the risk of accidents caused by technical errors of vehicles.
In addition to professional content on traffic safety, the company's Trade Union also skillfully integrates the organization of physical games, team building and gift-receiving exchanges. This activity has created a useful playground, bringing joyful laughter, helping union members and workers relieve stress after high-intensity shifts and further strengthen solidarity.
The program has closed a meaningful weekend, clearly showing the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization of Luxshare-ICT Company in comprehensively caring for the material and spiritual life of workers.
