The Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to establish grassroots trade unions for 3 units (Grassroots Trade Union of the Project Management Board and Land Fund Development of Dien Bien Phu Ward, Grassroots Trade Union of Cat Loi Dien Bien Co., Ltd., Grassroots Trade Union of Phong Huy Co., Ltd. of Dien Bien province), including 85 union members.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong - Vice President of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation - said that developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions is one of the core and vitally strategic tasks of the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
According to Ms. Huong, grassroots trade unions need to closely coordinate with employers to well implement grassroots democracy regulations, listen to union members' opinions. For leaders and directors of units, continue to create favorable conditions in terms of time, facilities and funding for the Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions to operate smoothly.
Speaking to receive the assignment, representatives of 3 grassroots trade unions committed to accompanying unit and company leaders to promote emulation movements "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income", contributing to excellently completing the production and business and professional tasks of the unit.
Along with that is to regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations to promptly support and encourage, especially for union members in difficult circumstances.
