On July 2, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HFF) said that a number of union officials have been transferred to work at ward and commune-level unions.
Thereby, a total of 27 union officials (formerly working at the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor) were transferred to work at 18 union units of wards and communes (old Ba Ria - Vung Tau area).
In particular, a number of union officials who have held leadership positions of units and trade unions at the grassroots level have been proposed to be assigned to hold leadership positions of trade unions at the commune and ward levels; submitted to the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation for consideration and decision.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, in the area of 30 wards and communes in the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau area, there were a total of 922 grassroots unions, with about 126,558 union members.
