On July 24, in Thai Nguyen, a working delegation of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) led by Mr. Vu Anh Duc - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the VGCL, head of the delegation - came to offer incense and flowers in gratitude to heroic martyrs at the National Historical Relic Area of Youth Volunteers (TNXP) Company 915, Team 91 Bac Thai (Gia Sang ward, Thai Nguyen province).
This is an activity within a series of plans to organize activities on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) and the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).
In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Mr. Vu Anh Duc and delegates in the working delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to the heroic martyrs of Youth Volunteers of Company 915 - the outstanding children who fell for the cause of national liberation and national reunification.
In front of the spirits of the heroic martyrs, the working delegation spent a minute of silence, expressing boundless gratitude for the silent but extremely courageous sacrifice of 60 Youth Volunteers of Company 915. They sacrificed their youth completely on the night of December 24, 1972, while on duty clearing military goods and food aid for the Southern battlefield.
The heroic sacrifice of the heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteers is a noble symbol of patriotism and the resilient revolutionary spirit.
After offering flowers and incense, the working delegation also spent time visiting the document and artifact display area at the relic site, and recalled the heroic memories of the Youth Volunteer force in the arduous but very proud years of fighting.
