At the visit, Mr. Hoang Thanh Tung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee - highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers of Can Tho City in the past time. Despite many difficulties, the brothers and sisters still stick to factories, construction sites, and businesses, maintaining production and stabilizing jobs.
Trade union levels have played a good role in representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of workers, organizing many practical activities such as the "Tet Reunion" program, supporting union members in difficult circumstances, labor accidents, and serious illnesses, helping brothers and sisters feel secure in working and long-term attachment to businesses.

In the coming time, in the face of many difficulties and challenges, Mr. Hoang Thanh Tung hopes that workers will continue to strive to work, improve their skills, labor discipline, and adapt to the new requirements of modern production.
Trade union levels closely follow grassroots levels, listen to workers' thoughts, proactively advise and propose solutions on employment, wages, working conditions, and ensure the legitimate rights of workers. Enterprises and trade union organizations strengthen coordination, build harmonious, stable, and jointly developed labor relations.
At the program, the National Assembly delegation presented 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the city. Each gift included 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND. Thereby, promptly encouraging union members and workers before the New Year.
