HCMC appoints 30 key officials

Ho Chi Minh City appoints 30 officials who are leaders and managers at project management boards and state-owned enterprises in the city.

On the morning of February 5, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Cong Vinh chaired the ceremony to award decisions on personnel work.

At the ceremony, Ho Chi Minh City leaders awarded decisions to appoint leadership positions of the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board after arrangement and merger. Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh was appointed Director of the Board; Deputy Directors of the Board include: Vo Ngoc Sang, Le Ngoc Hung, Trinh Linh Phuong, Le Huu Dung, Hoang Trung Kien, Tran Giau, Nguyen Van Tu and Dang Cuu Phuong.

For the Ho Chi Minh City Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board, Mr. Vo Duc Thanh was appointed as Director of the Board; Deputy Directors of the Board include: Nguyen Ngoc Van, Tran Van Tan, Nguyen Van Truong, Duong Minh Thuy, Huynh Minh Hung and Nguyen Van Tai.

At the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, Mr. Dau An Phuc was appointed Director of the Board; Deputy Directors of the Board include: Nguyen Van Trinh, Vu Tien Son, Lam Minh Ky, Nguyen Hoang Anh Dung, Van Phu Thai, Le Trong Nghia, Nguyen Minh Khanh, Nguyen Cong Danh, Vo Thi Thanh Ha, Nguyen Toan Thang and Vo Van Long.

Also at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Cong Vinh awarded the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Dam - Non-professional Member of the Member Council, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Irrigation Service Management and Exploitation One Member Limited Company, to hold the position of Chairman of the Company's Member Council.

Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also announced the decision to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, according to his personal wishes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Cong Vinh emphasized that the work of transferring and appointing cadres is a regular task of the city.

In the current context, this personnel consolidation is of great significance to stabilize the organizational structure after arrangement and merger, especially the consolidation of project management boards to focus resources, improve management efficiency and implement public investment.

Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested the newly appointed officials to quickly stabilize the organization, assign specific tasks, and urgently complete dossiers and procedures for projects, ensuring progress according to the set plan.

At the same time, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee emphasized 4 key tasks including: Strengthening internal solidarity and unity; tightening discipline and public service order, promoting the exemplary role of heads; improving the effectiveness of task implementation; arousing the desire to contribute, taking the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure to evaluate work results.
