Visiting President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum were Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; comrades in the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and delegates attending the XIV Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.
The delegation respectfully offered wreaths to pay respects to Uncle Ho. The delegation's wreath bears the words "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".
In the sacred moment, the delegation expressed their respect and remembrance for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader, National Liberation Hero, the founder and trainer of the Communist Party of Vietnam - the vanguard of the working class, the working people and the Vietnamese nation.
Next, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and delegates attending the Congress laid wreaths at the Bac Son Martyrs' Memorial.
The delegation's wreath bears the words "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs".
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates bowed to commemorate the outstanding children of the nation who bravely fought, sacrificed, and dedicated their lives to the cause of struggle for independence, freedom, and national reunification.
The 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress takes place from June 3 to 5 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi).
On June 4, the Congress will hold a solemn session, with the participation and directing speeches of Party and State leaders.
Attending the Congress were 780 outstanding delegates, representing the will, aspirations and intelligence of nearly 10 million trade union members nationwide. These are typical trade union officials and members representing industries, fields, localities, and units nationwide.
With the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress has the task of summarizing and evaluating the results of implementing the Resolution of the 13th Vietnam Trade Union Congress in the period 2023 - 2026; reviewing the activities of the Executive Committee of the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; determining goals, tasks and breakthroughs for the 2026 - 2031 term; amending the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, and at the same time electing the Executive Committee of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labour to lead trade union activities in the new term.
