Attending were WFTU leaders, WFTU Secretariat, members of the WFTU Presidium; representatives of WFTU's regional offices; representatives of WFTU's international industry unions.

After the wreath-laying ceremony, on the Mausoleum to pay respect to President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with WFTU organized a WFTU Presidium Conference and an international conference with the theme "The World Trade Union Federation, 80 years of formation and development".
WFTU is an international trade union organization established in 1945, the first and oldest international trade union center, gathering 110 million union members of 217 trade union organizations of 133 countries and territories. 2025 is the year of the solemn 80th anniversary of the founding of WFTU (October 3, 1945 - October 3, 2025).

The WFTU Presidium Conference is held annually to discuss and evaluate the WFTU's performance in the past year, propose the direction for the next year's activities and consider and approve the WFTU application of the organizations.

The participants of the Conference were members of the WFTU Presidium, members of the WFTU Secretariat, heads of representatives of WFTU regional offices and Chairmen and General Secretaries of the international trade union under WFTU.
