At the conference, they reported on Trade Union activities in 2025, directions and tasks for 2026; draft key work program for 2026; full-term working program of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, term I, term 2025-2030; draft working regulations of the Inspection Committee for the term 2025-2030; delegates discussed issues.
According to the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, 2025 is the year to implement the organizational structure of the political system and reorganize administrative units at 2 levels, promptly consolidate the Trade Union organization, continue to implement the Resolution of the XIII Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2023-2028, and bring the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress into life.
The Trade Union strengthens grasping the thoughts, aspirations, and employment situation of union members and workers; mobilizes union members and workers to actively participate with all levels, sectors, agencies, units, and businesses to well implement political tasks, production and business.
Organize practical and widespread patriotic emulation movements to celebrate Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in work, labor, production and building strong Trade Union organizations.
The work of caring for union members and workers is always concerned and focused on with many practical programs such as "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", "Trade Union Tet Market". Social activities, care for welfare, support for union members and workers, especially union members and workers in difficult circumstances in life, suffering from labor accidents, occupational diseases are maintained by trade union levels...
There have been over 12,800 turns of union members and workers being visited and given gifts by grassroots-level trade unions directly, with an amount of over 6.8 billion VND. Continuing to mobilize union members to contribute to the "Trade Union Society" fund. 220 "Trade Union Shelter" houses have been supported, built, and repaired for union members with housing difficulties, with a total amount of 26 billion 525 million VND. Speaking at the conference, Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Do Tran Thinh said that in the current context, the Trade Union organization has made efforts to adapt and operate better.
After the merger between An Giang and Kien Giang, the area is wider, the union members are more numerous, and the circumstances are more diverse. In the coming time, the Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation proposed that trade union levels strengthen going to the grassroots level, increase actions to understand, listen, and reduce formality to increase efficiency.
