In the context of production and business conditions of enterprises and the lives of workers (NLD) still facing many difficulties, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation has focused financial resources, deployed many activities to care for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 for union members and workers with higher scale, targets and levels of support than in previous years. The goal is to ensure that all union members and workers are cared for, shared and welcome a warm and meaningful Tet.
Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation - Do Tran Thinh said that implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation determined that taking care of Tet for union members and workers is a key political task, closely linked to activities at enterprises and the actual life of workers.
The activities to care for Binh Ngo Tet 2026 are deployed in a practical and targeted direction, avoiding formality, prioritizing union members and workers directly involved in production; people in difficult circumstances, low incomes; people affected by labor accidents, occupational diseases, dangerous diseases; people with reduced working hours, job losses. Especial attention is paid to union members and workers performing Tet duty, New Year's Eve duty at health, environmental sanitation, public utility services and special occupations.
Key programs such as: "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Party Gratitude" associated with cultural and sports activities, "Trade Union Year-end Meal", "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" are organized synchronously and diversely in form, creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere in businesses, helping workers clearly feel the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization during the traditional Tet days.
A prominent highlight in the work of taking care of Binh Ngo Tet 2026 is the financial resources concentrated by the Provincial Labor Federation at the highest level ever, with a total estimated budget of 12 billion VND, supporting more than 10% of the total number of union members and employees directly under it.
The scale, level of support and targets for Tet care this year are higher than in previous years, clearly showing the determination of the Trade Union organization in accompanying and sharing difficulties with workers, especially in the context that many businesses are still facing challenges," said the Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation.
Proactively focusing resources on Tet care not only helps union members and workers have more conditions to celebrate Tet fully, but also creates a positive spread, attracting the attention and responsibility of business owners in taking care of workers' lives, thereby consolidating trust and building harmonious, stable and sustainable labor relations.
