On August 25, Mr. Do Van Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Dak Lak 2-9 Import-Export Company Limited (Simexco Dak Lak) said that the union members and workers of the unit have launched a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people in a voluntary and unanimous spirit.
In the context of the Cuban people facing many difficulties, Simexco Dak Lak union members and workers have actively responded to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province. Thereby, the unit has raised 100 million VND to send to the Cuban people.
The above amount will be transferred to the Dak Lak Red Cross Charity Fund with the content: "SIMEXCO DAKLAK SCHEDULE SCHEDULE H' CUBA".
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy General Director of Simexco Dak Lak said: "This activity demonstrates the humanistic spirit and sharing of union members and workers in the unit. Thereby, affirming that every union member and employee, regardless of their position, can contribute to fostering a strong friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.
"This is also a solid foundation for us to build a corporate culture associated with community and social responsibility" - Mr. Dung added.
