On the morning of March 29, at Phieng Loi community tourism village (Dien Bien Phu ward), the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized the launch of the "Tet tree planting, forever remembering Uncle Ho" and strengthened the management, protection, and development of forests in 2026.
Attending were delegates along with 100 union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) of Dien Bien Phu ward, Muong Thanh ward and grassroots trade unions.


After the launching ceremony, delegates and union members, CNVCLĐ launched a campaign to plant 170 ban flowers in Phieng Loi community tourism village. All ban flowers were purchased from contributions from grassroots trade unions.
Leaders of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation said that, implementing Uncle Ho's teachings, in recent years, officials, union members, and workers have enthusiastically participated in organizing tree planting activities.



The activity has become a regular movement, showing the responsibility of trade union organizations and workers in protecting the environment and responding to climate change.
Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation also called on each official and union member to continue to promote their role, proactively plant, care for and protect green trees at agencies, businesses and residences.
Focus on developing diverse types of trees such as: fruit trees, timber trees, shade trees, protection forest planting, headwater forests, economic forests.

Participating in planting trees, Ms. Vu Thi Thuy Linh - Trade Union of Dien Bien College said that participating in the launching ceremony and planting ban flowers with her own hands is a meaningful activity for individuals and trade union members.
I clearly understand the responsibility in participating in planting, caring for and protecting green trees. Especially the protection and development of ban flowers, a typical tree of Dien Bien to attract tourists" - Ms. Linh said.



Planting trees is a practical activity, contributing to the goal of increasing the forest cover rate of Dien Bien by at least 46% in 2026. Continue to develop ban flower trees, serving the Ban Flower Festival and promoting tourism of the province.
