The delegation was led by Mr. Le Van Dai - Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation. During the day, the delegation visited 5 units including: Gami Hoi An Joint Stock Company, Anh Sang 7 Garment Factory, Quang Nam Regional General Hospital, Sedo Vinako Company Limited and Apollo Dai Loc Garment Company Limited. These are enterprises that suffered great damage to facilities, goods, machinery and equipment due to the impact of the recent prolonged flood.

At each destination, the working group directly listened to business leaders and grassroots trade unions report on the situation of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, visited and shared the difficulties that the business community and workers are experiencing.

The Da Nang City Labor Federation has presented representatives of the workers directly affected, each person with 2 million VND in cash, and assigned the grassroots trade union to continue organizing the hand-to-hand giving of gifts to other cases facing difficulties.

At Anh Sang 7 Garment Factory (Nam Phuoc Commune), when receiving the support gift from the Da Nang City Labor Federation, Ms. Truong Thi Hoa - a worker at the factory - was moved and could not hold back her tears.

Recalling the rainy and flood days, she said the water rose too quickly, the family could not be able to clean up, many items were swept away, and the remaining rice in the house was soaked. When she arrived at the company, seeing the sewing workshop deeply flooded and the machinery damaged, she became even more worried.

"But when the union and leaders encouraged me to return to work, I felt very relieved. We all hope to contribute to helping businesses clean up and stabilize production soon," Ms. Hoa shared.

Mr. Dai emphasized: The City Trade Union always accompanies and shares with businesses and workers in the most difficult times. Although each gift is small, it is an affection, a timely care and encouragement from the City Labor Federation to the workers and laborers.

Representatives of enterprises thanked the attention of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, saying that this timely support and encouragement is a great source of motivation to help enterprises and workers become more confident, quickly overcome damage, stabilize production and life.
