Union's Tet gifts to workers
In Thuan An city, the Union of PungKook SaiGon III Factory (An Phu ward, Thuan An city, specializing in sewing backpacks and handbags for export, belonging to PungKook SaiGon II Company Limited) gave 1,800 Tet gifts to workers. Each gift worth 244,000 VND, including 2 boxes of cakes, coffee, cooking oil and sugar. In Di An city, the Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japanese investment, manufacturing automobile electrical wires) also gave Tet gifts to thousands of workers. Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nhung - Chairwoman of the Company's Trade Union - said that the Trade Union gave each union member and worker a gift worth 300,000 VND. For workers who do not return to their hometowns, a year-end meeting will be held on the 29th of Tet. These employees will receive an additional envelope of 500,000 VND and a gift of 300,000 VND.
In Tan Uyen city, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Tan Uyen City Labor Federation and local authorities presented more than 10,000 Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. The city's labor union is coordinating with localities and grassroots unions to present Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.
At the provincial level, the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor said that this year the provincial union will support about 90,000-100,000 workers. Each gift is worth 1 million VND, including 700,000 VND in cash and 300,000 VND in necessities. Bringing Tet atmosphere to workers
In addition to taking care of material things, the trade unions directly at the grassroots level also organize many activities to take care of the cultural and spiritual life of union members. The trade unions of industrial parks in Binh Duong province organized the "Spring Fragrance" contest early in 2025. The contest attracted more than 40 teams with over 500 union members to participate. At the contest, the teams showed off their skills in making traditional Vietnamese cakes and jams and decorating booths for Tet, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among union members and workers in the days leading up to Tet At Ty 2025.
In Phu Giao district, the district Labor Federation organized the 2025 Spring Union Tet Market. Participating in the program, union members and workers can also buy household products at preferential prices at booths from welfare units, as well as participate in the lucky draw program with valuable gifts from sponsoring companies and businesses. Cultural and artistic activities also took place at the Tet market. The Union arranged booths and brought the Tet atmosphere to workers here.
At the program, the organizers presented 200 gifts, each worth 700,000 VND in cash and gifts worth 300,000 VND from the union budget of the Provincial and District Labor Federations. At the same time, the organizers also presented 200 gifts to union members and workers who were far from home and in difficult circumstances and could not return home for Tet, each worth 1 million VND in cash from the state budget.
