Information from the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union on the afternoon of December 29 said that many textile and garment enterprises are currently ready to recruit workers from Panko Vina Co., Ltd. to work.

Accordingly, Phong Phu International Joint Stock Company (Tang Nhon Phu Ward, Linh Trung District, Ho Chi Minh City) recruited nearly 100 sewing, button-setting, book-binding, and sample sewing workers with salaries ranging from 9 - 15 million VND/month.

Lien Phuong Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company (Phuoc Long Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) recruits 200 garment workers and 50 bulldozer workers, with salaries ranging from 9 - 15 million VND/month. The company has specialized support of 500,000 VND/month, support for childcare costs for children under 6 years old of 100,000 VND/child/month and pays for all mid-shift meals; the company has bonuses for holidays, Tet, salary for the 13th month.

Huu Nghi Garment Joint Stock Company recruits 200 workers to work in Dong Thap province (formerly Sa Dec City area) and 300 workers to work in Tay Ninh province (formerly Long An area).

Viet Thang Garment Joint Stock Company, Linh Trung area, Ho Chi Minh City recruits 100 garment workers, 5 button pickers with an average salary of 12 million VND/person/month.

Binh Minh Garment Joint Stock Company recruits 100 garment workers working in Dong Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City with a salary of 8 million VND/month or more and 1,000 workers in stages in the garment line working in Long My Ward, Can Tho City with a salary of 5 million VND or more.

Thanh Cong Textile and Garment Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company recruits 500 workers in stages in the garment production line working in Tay Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Phong Phu Household Textile Joint Stock Company recruits 85 workers to work in the Tang Nhon Phu ward area, Ho Chi Minh City with a salary of 9 - 13 million VND/person/month.

Previously, Phuong Dong Garment Joint Stock Company also announced that it is ready to recruit about 1,000 workers of Panko Vina Co., Ltd. to work at the company's new factories in Dong Thap province (in Chau Thanh, Cai Lay, Cho Gao districts of the former Tien Giang province).

As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported, Panko Vina Co., Ltd. announced that it will stop operating due to order difficulties that may affect the jobs of about 2,700 workers.
