Salary and Tet bonus increase for workers
New Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd. is one of the enterprises with many workers in Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Dong Phu commune. The grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of New Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that the enterprise decided to give Tet bonuses to each employee equal to one month's salary recorded in the contract plus allowances.
In addition, the company also rewards employees based on seniority. Employees with a working period of 1 year or more are additionally rewarded 1.2 million VND; from 2 years is 1.8 million VND; from 3 years is 2.4 million VND; over 5 years is 3 million VND and over 10 years is 3.6 million VND. The company rewards each employee with a year-end bonus of 100,000 VND. On the first day of work after the Lunar New Year, the company will also give lucky money of 100,000 VND to each person.
The grassroots trade union of New Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that the grassroots trade union also has Tet gifts for each union member, which is a gift worth 350,000 VND.
Notably, the company has just adjusted to increase the basic salary for employees. For employees who have signed labor contracts, the basic salary is adjusted to increase depending on the worker's skill level. The lowest increase is 354,000 VND/month, the highest increase is 574,000 VND/month. For office workers, the achievement assessment is considered, the highest increase is 15% salary. The adjusted salary increase helps employees have additional monthly income to cover living expenses.
Businesses increase wages, trade unions care for workers
Freewell Co., Ltd. (Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Dong Phu commune), with about 7,500 workers) has also adjusted salaries for workers. Compared to before, the basic salary of workers has been adjusted to increase by an additional 320,000 VND/month. Currently, the basic salary for group 1 workers who have signed labor contracts is 5.53 million VND/month, and the basic salary for group 2 workers who have signed labor contracts is 5.8 million VND/month.
In addition to salary increases, the company announced Tet bonuses to reassure employees to work. This year, the Tet bonus level is calculated based on the seniority of employees. Employees with seniority from 1-3 years are rewarded with 1 month of basic salary, from 3-5 years are rewarded with 1.2 months of basic salary, from 5-7 years are rewarded with 1.4 months of basic salary, from 7-10 years are rewarded with 1.6 months of basic salary, from 10-12 years are rewarded with 1.8 months of basic salary. For employees working from 12-27 years, they are rewarded with 2 to 3 months of basic salary. Tet bonuses will be paid on January 24, 2026.
While businesses are busy finding orders to ensure jobs, the company's grassroots trade union is also urgently taking care of Tet for workers in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Le Mong Hoang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Freewell Co., Ltd. - said that the unit is preparing to organize the "Tet Sum vay" program.

The grassroots trade union of Freewell Co., Ltd. will present 20 gifts (each gift worth 1 million VND in cash and gifts worth 500,000 VND) and the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation will present 706 gifts (each gift worth 1 million VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances" - Mr. Le Mong Hoang informed.
