Recruitment demand increases at the end of the year
The end of the year is always a vibrant period for the labor market when the recruitment demand at many businesses increases sharply. However, contrary to that demand, the number of candidates looking for jobs is not large, especially candidates with high qualifications and skills, causing many obstacles in new recruitment.

At the job fair held near the end of November in Hanoi, a representative of the recruitment department of Nhat Tan Group Joint Stock Company said that the unit is in need of adding personnel in many fields such as electrical engineers, on-site engineers, unskilled laborers to senior workers. The total demand is about 20 positions with quite competitive salaries.
In which, the department head position has a salary of about 40-50 million VND/month, the average salary manager is 20-30 million VND/month and the general workforce is 10-13 million VND/month. However, the number of participating candidates is not large and there are not many potential applications.
Similarly, KM Vietnam Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company is also recruiting about 10 personnel for the end of the year. The company representative said: for the group of engineers, the company requires candidates to be in the right major and have experience; while the group of workers do not require a degree but need to grasp basic knowledge to meet the requirements of the job.
Candidates are limited because they want to stabilize at the end of the year
Explaining the reason for the difficulty in recruitment, a representative of Nhat Tan Group said that at the end of the year, the majority of workers want to stabilize their jobs to wait for Tet bonuses, limit job changes, making the market scarce in candidates, especially skilled candidates.
Ms. Tran Ngoc Anh - Vietnam Industrial and Urban Development Joint Stock Company also said that the enterprise is recruiting sales staff, heads of sales departments, robotics and electrical engineering. However, the two most necessary positions are the head of the sales and engineering department in the field of robotics, which are very few people know about. According to Ms. Anh, currently only workers who have quit their jobs before or have just graduated are proactive in finding a job, while experienced workers often wait until after Tet to consider a job change.

The human resource demand of enterprises at this stage is quite large, but the number of workers with suitable experience is not much. Many positions require practical experience, especially in business and industries related to industrial machinery and equipment. Although businesses offer attractive salary and benefits such as full insurance, Tet bonuses, birthdays, team building, etc., it is still difficult to attract candidates near Tet.
