Initiatives to help businesses save tens of billions of VND
Dong Nai has about 1.3 million workers. In recent times, union members and workers have been proactive, creative, sensitive to quick access to new technology, actively participating in initiatives and improvements in production labor, achieving many outstanding achievements, contributing to business development and job stabilization.
According to the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, through the synthesis of innovation initiatives from emulation movements launched by trade unions at all levels, it shows that union members and workers in the province uphold the sense of responsibility in production labor, contribute many initiatives to save raw materials, and enhance the value of products and goods of enterprises.
In 2024, the whole province will have over 31,000 new ideas, more than 2,800 new initiatives and designs that will benefit and save businesses tens of billions of VND.
Many typical examples in the initiative were rewarded and encouraged by trade unions and enterprises. Notable examples include Mr. Le Huu Cuong - assistant to the Head of Technical Department, Vietnam NOK Company Limited - with 76 innovative ideas to help reduce defective goods, reduce raw material consumption, save 7.6 billion VND; Ms. Do Thi Thuy Duong, Innovation Director, Fashion Garment 2 Company Limited, along with a group of nearly 1,200 innovative ideas to save businesses over 189,000 USD...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc - an employee of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company - with 2 initiatives to help reduce the risk of occupational accidents, reduce many workers during the production process, save the company over 600,000 USD and monthly benefit the company over 50,000 USD.
Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Thi Nhu Y said that in 2025, trade unions at all levels will widely launch emulation movements to call on union members and workers to strive to compete to successfully complete the goals and tasks at units and enterprises, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
Proactively encourage innovation in enterprises
Enterprises always organize innovation emulation programs for union members and workers. The Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company has proactively built many methods of propaganda and mobilization of employees to participate in the movement "Good workers, creative workers" in enterprises. As a result, there are thousands of initiatives and ideas of workers in improving product designs, benefiting businesses with tens of billions of VND.
Mr. Dang Tuan Tu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. - shared: The company always encourages union members and workers to have many creative ideas and improve their work, thereby contributing to the profit of tens of thousands of USD for the enterprise. That shows that the qualifications of Vietnamese workers are increasingly high, smart, and creative.
Therefore, to arouse the spirit of creativity among union members, the company has encouraged workers with many creative ideas with awards. Monthly prizes are awarded for creative improvements from 30,000 VND to 2 million VND/ improvement; for annual improvements, the prize is from 10 to 30 million VND/prize.
To date, the company has had over 120,000 good improvement ideas; 558 excellent improvements saving the enterprise 162 billion VND. Outstanding improvements were honored by the company as individuals and groups at the annual summary. Timely rewards encourage workers to compete in production, achieve good results, and work with the company to achieve annual production plans.
