Impressive target numbers
Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan has just signed and issued a plan to implement job creation and send workers to work abroad in 2026, with many important targets associated with the sustainable socio-economic development strategy.

According to the plan, Dong Thap province strives to create new jobs for at least 50,000 workers in 2026; and at the same time send 2,200 workers to work abroad for a fixed term under contract.
Notably, Dong Thap sets a target of 100% of communes and wards having workers participating in the program to send workers to work abroad. The seasonal labor program in Korea alone is expected to send 768 workers to work, an increase of nearly 40% compared to the previous year.

The province identifies job creation and sending workers to work abroad as a key task, contributing to reducing the unemployment rate, improving income and creating conditions for workers to access advanced science and technology from developed countries," Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan emphasized.
Synchronous solutions, towards sustainable efficiency
To achieve the above goals, Dong Thap is synchronously implementing many key solution groups in the direction of "3-legged joint".
In which, the province focuses on perfecting mechanisms and policies to support businesses investing in labor-intensive industries; effectively deploying preferential loan capital sources to create jobs and support costs for workers going to work abroad.

In parallel, Dong Thap focuses on improving the quality of human resources through vocational training, foreign language training, soft skills and awareness of international law compliance for workers before leaving the country. The province also continues to maintain traditional labor markets, while expanding to countries with high incomes and stable working environments.
Propaganda work is identified as an important solution to help people understand their rights and obligations when participating in the overseas labor program. The province will continue to spread successful models, typical examples of rising to get rich after working abroad to create motivation for workers.

One of the highlights of this year's plan is the seasonal labor cooperation program with two twin localities of Korea, Cheorwon and Yeoncheon, opening up short-term but high-income job opportunities for Dong Thap workers.
With synchronous solutions and high determination, Dong Thap expects to complete the set goals, contributing to improving people's lives and promoting local socio-economic development towards sustainability.
