On November 17, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) held a conference to review 3 years of implementing the emulation movement "Active learning in EVN", at the same time honoring EVN Excellent Internal Lecturers in 2025 and launching a lifelong learning emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers in the 2026-2030 period.
Mr. Phan Van Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attended the Conference.
According to EVN's report, after 3 years of implementation, the "Active learning movement in EVN" has become a characteristic of EVN culture, contributing to building a team of workers and civil servants with knowledge, skills, responsibility, and creativity - meeting EVN's sustainable development requirements in the digital transformation and energy transformation period, achieving many positive results, such as:
The "Active Learning" movement is deployed to 100% of units, including learning criteria in annual emulation and reward assessment;
On average, EVN trains more than 400,000 centralized and online classes each year, with 1.2 million classes on the E-learning system, developing 1,378 official lectures;
General companies and many factories (Son La Hydropower Plant, Tri An, Vinh Tan Thermal Power Plant...) exceed the mandatory online learning completion target;
Training and fostering 2,845 union officials; 100% of grassroots union chairmen receive professional training;
Every year, 40 families of outstanding workers and civil servants, 250 excellent students nationwide/internationalwide, 20 collectives and 30 individuals are commended for studying according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style;
The "20,000 initiatives" program reached 12,931 initiatives (129.3% of the plan), generating a profit of more than 1,200 billion VND/year.

EVN assessed the movement as a strategic task of EVN and the Trade Union, contributing to the formation of a digital learning culture in the entire Group. EVN focuses on quality over quantity of learning; organizes internal lecturer honors, innovates teaching methods; arouses the spirit of self-study, self- cultivation of digital abilities.
However, some facilities have not been maintained regularly, the linkage of learning outcomes with emulation is still limited; there is a need for a learning support mechanism for workers in disadvantaged areas.
In the coming time, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union and the Group will continue to coordinate to promote the " proactive learning movement throughout EVN"; develop a culture of continuous learning - digital learning; make lifelong learning activities an element of EVN culture.
Encourage each cadre and employee to self-study, self-cultivate their digital transformation and energy transformation abilities; build a positive learning environment in enterprises and families of workers and civil servants.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group, expressed his gratitude and praise for the results that the electricity industry's staff and workers have achieved in the recent past, especially the emulation movement "Active learning in EVN".
On this occasion, Mr. Tuan also thanked the trade union organization, from EVN Group to the units that encouraged workers to have a very successful movement, and emphasized that there will be many more things for EVN's staff and workers to do in the coming time.
