Nearly 180 union members join grassroots trade unions in Son La

    Son La - May 4, Son La Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to establish a grassroots Trade Union of the Provincial Culture and Sports Center.

    The Provincial Culture and Sports Center was established under Decision No. 3011/QD-UBND dated November 26, 2025 of Son La Provincial People's Committee, on the basis of merging 4 public service units including: Provincial Museum and Library; Provincial Song and Dance Theater; Provincial Culture - Cinema Center; Training and Sports Competition Center.

    At the conference, the Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 179 trade union members and awarded the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of the Provincial Culture and Sports Center. The Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union includes 7 members; Mr. Doan The Hung, Deputy Director of the Center, holds the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.

    Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Soi Ngoc Cuong, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, congratulated the newly established grassroots trade union. At the same time, he wished the grassroots trade union to well perform its role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
