Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - informed that the Trade Union Tet Market Program is constantly innovated, diversified and enriched, creating conditions for businesses to bring quality products, goods and services to a large number of union members and workers, helping union members and workers have the opportunity to access goods with guaranteed quality and reasonable prices.
The program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" 2025 presented 8,800 gifts to union members and workers from the financial resources of the City Trade Union, 2,700 gifts from Party, State and City leaders; 5,000 gifts of necessities; 2,570 vouchers to buy Tet online market; visited and wished Tet to some units on duty during Tet with the task of maintaining order, environmental sanitation, and hospitals on New Year's Eve; with the total amount of the program being nearly 6 billion VND.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Viet Truong - Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee - said that under the leadership of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the city's leaders, the city's Trade Unions at all levels have successfully organized many activities to take care of Tet for employees and union members.
This year, to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, the City Labor Federation organizes activities to care for union members and workers, "Union Tet Market" with many activities for workers and workers in difficult circumstances, with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", "no one is left behind" focusing on the grassroots and the direct superior union of the grassroots where there are many union members and workers.

In particular, the issues of employment, wages, labor laws, implementing grassroots democracy regulations, taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, so that they can confidently join and stick with the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

The program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Gratitude to the Party" and the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market Program in Can Tho took place for 3 days from January 11 to 13, with many cultural, artistic, sports and folk games activities; thereby creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere among union members, workers, civil servants and laborers on the occasion of Tet.
