Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - said that the Vietnam Trade Union organizes the "2025 Trade Union Tet Market" to concretize and implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, Resolution No. 07/NQ-BCH dated August 29, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Focusing resources on caring for the welfare of union members and workers in the new situation". Bringing quality goods and consumer products of domestic enterprises and units to a large number of union members and workers; helping union members and workers have the opportunity to buy goods and products that ensure quality, reasonable prices, incentives, cost savings, modernity, convenience and speed; innovating the care activities of the Trade Union organization on the occasion of Lunar New Year, contributing to bringing a warm and full Tet to union members, workers and their families during the coming of Tet and Spring.
The online program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025" will be held from 0:00 on December 20, 2024 to 24:00 on January 20, 2025 (from November 20 to December 21, the year of the Dragon 2024). At the program, workers nationwide can buy goods and consumer products on the program's official website organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with the participation of units, organizations and enterprises. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will support in cash - through vouchers - for about 200,000 workers (with outstanding achievements in labor, production, and participation in trade union activities; still facing difficulties and low income) to buy goods and consumer products at the program.
In addition to organizing the online program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025", the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also organizes the program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025".
In particular, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor directs and assigns the Hai Phong City Labor Confederation to organize the program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025"; the provincial and municipal Labor Confederations, Central Industry Trade Unions and equivalent, and the general trade unions under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, depending on their conditions and capabilities, organize the program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025" in their localities and units in a suitable and meaningful manner, ensuring savings and focusing resources on unions and workers.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will organize the opening session of the program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025" at the Hai Phong City Labor Confederation; launch the program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025" online, with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, local Party committees, authorities, enterprises and a large number of union members and workers.
