On the morning of March 5, information from the Buon Ma Thuot City Labor Federation said that the unit had just organized a meeting with female union officials and female workers to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 2010 - March 8, 2025) and the 1985 anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising.
The program was attended by leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, departments, branches and unions in Buon Ma Thuot city and nearly 200 female grassroots union officials.
Currently, the Buon Ma Thuot City Labor Federation manages 198 grassroots unions and grassroots unions with a total of 12,383 union members, including 8,688 female union members.
In recent times, female workers, civil servants and laborers of the city have promoted the spirit of creativity and dynamism, contributing to the effective implementation of trade union activities and the movement of female workers, civil servants and laborers.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Cuc - President of the Buon Ma Thuot City Labor Federation - emphasized that in recent years, the city's trade union and the Women's Union have organized many practical activities towards female workers, civil servants and laborers.
In particular, the movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework" continues to be maintained and promoted, contributing to affirming the important role of women in the family and society.
Trade unions at all levels from the city to the grassroots level always pay attention to and create conditions for women to promote their capacity, actively participate in labor and production, respond to emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers", contributing to the good completion of the unit's tasks.
The meeting program is an opportunity for female union officials to exchange, learn experiences, improve their organizational skills, and lead the movement of female workers, civil servants, and laborers in the new period.
At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious traditions of Vietnamese and international women on the occasion of International Women's Day 8.3 and the Doi Ba Trung uprising.
A representative of Yakult Milk Company in Dak Lak shared information about the nutrition from Yakult enzyme-based milk of Japan. Experts from the Aesthetic system and Ngoc Dung Cosmetic Hospital also advise on skin care and beauty.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 200 gifts to female workers, civil servants, and laborers.
The meeting not only helped strengthen solidarity but also created opportunities for female union officials to exchange, learn, and improve the quality of women's work. Thereby, contributing to promoting the increasing development of the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in the city.
