Prime Minister meets with outstanding teachers

At 5:00 p.m. on November 15, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with representatives of outstanding teachers and education managers to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

Also attending were Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education Nguyen Duc Vinh, and representatives of ministries and agencies.

60 outstanding teachers representing more than 1.6 million teachers nationwide attended the meeting.

From 251 outstanding teachers and managers in 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training selected 40 outstanding teachers and managers representing all levels of education, regions and more than 1.6 million teachers and managers at all levels nationwide to meet the Prime Minister.

In addition, there are 20 outstanding teachers and managers from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

These are teachers with outstanding achievements in scientific research, training excellent students at national and international levels, teaching students with disabilities, working in difficult areas, ethnic minorities and teachers with community activities.

The meeting demonstrated the deep concern of the Prime Minister and Party and State leaders for teachers in particular and the education and training career in general.

This is a great source of encouragement for teachers across the country; at the same time, it shows respect, gratitude and honor for teachers and the teaching profession in the career of "cultivating people".
