In his position as Deputy Director of the hospital, he and the leadership team overcame the difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic, maintained the effectiveness of medical examination and treatment activities, and improved the quality of service to the people. In his position as Chairman of the Trade Union, he is always closely involved in the lives of union members and workers; actively protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of medical staff. However, what makes many people admire him is not only his achievements in work but also his happy family nest nurtured with love and sharing.
His wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, is also a medical staff and union member working at Que Vo General Hospital. For 5 consecutive years from 2021-2026, she achieved the title "Good at state affairs, good at housework". Working in the medical industry with the specific nature of a stressful job, he and his wife always understand, encourage and support each other in life as well as work.
According to Mr. Thuy, to maintain family happiness, the most important thing is respect, sharing and companionship. Despite being busy with professional work and trade union activities, he still spends time taking care of the family, educating children and supporting both parents. That sharing has helped the family always maintain a harmonious and close atmosphere.
Their two children are both obedient and study well. Currently, one is studying abroad in Australia, and the other is a student at Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy. This is the result of the care and companionship of parents throughout the children's growth process.
