On October 23, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province directed departments, branches and localities to study and adjust the task of developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources in the Provincial Planning, to ensure compliance with practical requirements of the new period.
The province requires the implementation of tasks and solutions on human resource development and use to meet the requirements of socio-economic development; propose a mechanism to encourage businesses to invest in human resource training and development.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to review and collect information on labor supply and demand, assess and forecast human resource needs by industry, field and locality, to solve the situation of imbalance between supply and demand, local labor shortage.
At the same time, promote digital transformation in connecting labor supply and demand through digital platforms; deploy solutions to support job creation, helping workers access the labor market early.
The province also requires strengthening activities to connect labor supply and demand, consulting, introducing jobs, ensuring timely labor supply to meet the needs of businesses, investors and the market.
The Department of Education and Training is responsible for promoting career guidance, dividing high school students, increasing the rate of students with good or better academic performance to participate in vocational education; effectively implementing support policies and encouraging the development of non-public educational institutions.
Focus on training, fostering, and improving the quality of human resources to meet the requirements of private economic development; encourage training models according to the orders of enterprises and employers.
