Participating in the 2025 Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) Grassroots Football Tournament are 10 men's teams and 18 women's teams from 23 units in the Group. This year's tournament has increased 1 men's football team, 4 women's football teams, and 6 units compared to the 2024 season.
This is an annual tournament, a traditional sports playground, imbued with the spirit of "discipline and Unity" of coal miners.
The tournament is a practical activity to promote the sports movement, improve the spiritual life of workers; at the same time, create opportunities for exchange, spread the spirit of solidarity and competition in production. Not only an opportunity to exercise, the TKV Football Tournament is also a place for cadres and employees to express their collective spirit, the spirit of "fair play" solidarity, aiming to successfully complete production and business goals in 2025.
The teams are divided into groups, competing in a round-robin to select the best teams to the cross-final round and then select the 2 best teams to the final.
Right after the Opening Ceremony yesterday afternoon (October 9.9) at Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company Stadium, Ha Lam Ward, Quang Ninh Province, there were matches in women's football between the Group Agency Team and Coal Export Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin (Coalimex) and the match between the Ha Lam Coal Women's Football Team and Nam Mau Coal.
The tournament is expected to close on Sunday, October 19, with the women's football finals at Ha Lam Stadium, Ha Lam Ward, Quang Ninh Province and the Men's Football Final at Cua Ong Stadium, Cua Ong Ward, Quang Ninh Province.
