Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV) has just issued a decision to partially support the cost of childcare in kindergartens and kindergartens for TKV employees with children of childcare age and kindergarten.
The subjects of application are employees working at TKV agencies and subsidiaries and units under TKV. Employees whose children (biological or legally adopted) are from 3 months old to less than 6 years old and are currently being sent to kindergartens or preschools.
This decision aims to determine a partial cost support mechanism for TKV employees with children of childcare age and kindergarten to help families take better care of and educate their children.
Children receive support when meeting the following criteria: Having a mother or father who is a worker at TKV. If both father and mother work in TKV, the regime will be implemented at the unit where the mother is working.
Children being sent to kindergartens and preschools are preschool education institutions as prescribed in Article 26 of the Education Law No. 43/2019/QH14 dated June 14, 2019, including: kindergartens and independent groups of children receiving children from 3 months to 3 years old; kindergartens and independent kindergartens receiving children from 3 to 6 years old; kindergartens and independent preschools are educational institutions combining kindergartens and kindergartens, receiving children from 3 months to 6 years old.
Support level: 160,000 VND/month/child. TKV encourages support units to provide higher levels. The support period is calculated based on the actual number of school months, but not exceeding 9 months/school year, starting from July 1, 2025.
The total number of TKV's staff, workers and laborers nationwide is about 95,000 people, with 65 subsidiaries and affiliated units, mainly in Quang Ninh.
