At the Hanoi City Employment Service Center, Ms. Le Hoai Thu - Head of Human Resources Department of a business said that the unit is in need of recruiting more than 100 workers to train and serve production at the end of the year. In addition to competitive salaries, businesses apply many support policies such as arranging accommodation for workers, rewarding 1-2 million VND for employees working effectively, exceeding KPI.
In the morning alone, we received 18 candidates to apply directly, and continued to expand recruitment through online channels. The company does not limit age, unskilled people will be well trained and fully pay social insurance. The salary ranges from 12 to 18 million VND/month" - Ms. Thu shared.
According to Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center, the end of the year is the period of vibrant recruitment when businesses prepare for Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year. Through receiving the information, the number of businesses that need to recruit workers has increased significantly, especially in the fields of trade, services and part of production - Mr. Thanh said.
Notably, the capital's labor market is shifting from seasonal to stable, long-term jobs. Hanoi is not only creating jobs in the short term but is gradually creating a sustainable career foundation. When businesses recover, the demand for recruitment in the fields of trade, logistics, processing industry, tourism, and food and beverage services increases sharply, the city's employment policies play an important role as a bridge, helping labor supply and demand meet at the right time" - Mr. Vu Quang Thanh expressed.
According to the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, in the first 11 months of 2025, the whole city has created jobs for 207,493 workers, exceeding the annual plan by 22.7%. In November alone, Hanoi created jobs for 16,017 people, of which 4,261 workers were supported from the city's budget entrusted through the Social Policy Bank with a total amount of 371 billion VND.
In addition, 1,827 workers have jobs through sessions, exchanges and job introduction activities; 367 people go to work abroad under contracts; 9,562 people have jobs through other forms. During the month, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 25 job fairs with 804 participating businesses, attracting 9,360 workers to register; as a result, 1,600 people were recruited.
Along with that, the city has resolved unemployment insurance regimes for 6,737 people with a total amount of VND 260.4 billion; 7,179 people were consulted and introduced to jobs and 63 people were supported to learn a trade, with a budget of VND 242 million.
Mr. Vu Quang Thanh emphasized that the continuous recruitment of many businesses at job fairs shows that the capital's labor market is becoming vibrant again and gradually recovering towards sustainability. Along with that, policies to support employment, vocational training and social security are implemented synchronously, not only helping workers find jobs soon, but also creating a stable career foundation, meeting the human resource needs of businesses and ensuring long-term livelihoods.
