In which, for Workers' Month 2026 alone, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation has directly propagated and mobilized the establishment of 11 new grassroots trade unions, admitting 654 union members; directing grassroots trade unions to continue to mobilize and admit more union members. In which, the Central Trade Union Cluster established 3 new grassroots trade unions, developing 229 new union members; the Northern Cluster established 4 new grassroots trade unions, developing 710 new union members; the Southern Cluster established 2 new grassroots trade unions, developing 323 new union members; the Western Cluster established 2 new grassroots trade unions, developing 200 new union members. Overall, in the first 6 months of 2026, Ha Tinh Trade Union levels have focused on promoting propaganda and mobilizing for union member admission, linking union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions with consolidating and improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities. Trade Union Clusters organize working sessions with units and businesses to grasp information on the operating situation, collecting trade union fees and mobilizing
To date, Ha Tinh province has mobilized the establishment of 14 new grassroots trade unions (reaching 45% of the target) and developed 3,075 new union members (reaching 100.8% of the target). In which, there are 7 grassroots trade unions with over 25 union members; 213 outstanding union members were introduced to study for Party targets (reaching 55% of the target) and of which 83 union members were admitted to the Party.
According to Mr. Ngo Dinh Van - Vice Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation, although in the first 6 months of 2026, trade union levels have completed more than 100% of union member development, in general, the progress of implementing targets on union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions is still slow compared to requirements. Mr. Van said that in the last 6 months of the year, Ha Tinh Trade Union levels need to focus and be more drastic to comprehensively complete the goals and tasks of 2026. Currently, Ha Tinh Trade Union directly manages 459 grassroots trade unions with 37,530 union members. Among them, there are 61 grassroots trade unions of non-business units with 7,135 union members, 2 grassroots trade unions with 395 union members, and the rest are grassroots trade unions of enterprises with more than 30,000 union members.
