The conference focused on comprehensively assessing the results of trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year; analyzing difficulties and limitations, and at the same time discussing and sharing many good practices and effective models from the grassroots level to improve the quality of trade union activities in the new period.
In the last 6 months of the year, trade union levels in the province agreed to focus on effectively implementing the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress; organize a preliminary review of one year of operation of the Provincial Labor Federation after the merger; continue to promote union member development, establish grassroots trade unions; widely launch the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income"; strongly innovate the content and methods of trade union activities associated with the development requirements of the province and trade union organizations in the new situation.
One of the key tasks identified is to improve the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Accordingly, trade union levels will review and improve the quality of negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements; strive for at least 81% of enterprises with trade union organizations meeting the conditions to sign collective labor agreements and 85% of grassroots trade unions in the non-state sector to participate in building and implementing grassroots democracy regulations.
At the same time, proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, especially in the context of fluctuating prices and living costs to promptly propose appropriate support solutions.

Reports at the conference showed that in the first 6 months of 2026, provincial trade union activities achieved many outstanding results. The work of caring for union members and workers was implemented synchronously with many practical programs; successfully organized a dialogue conference between provincial leaders and officials, union members, and workers; free health check-ups for 3,000 workers; newly established 138 grassroots trade unions, developed more than 35,200 union members...
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and praised the results achieved by trade union levels in the province in the first 6 months of 2026, especially the efforts in caring for union members, developing trade union organizations and innovating operating methods after the province implemented administrative unit arrangement.
He requested trade union levels to focus on drastically implementing key tasks in the last 6 months of the year with a spirit of proactiveness, creativity, and efficiency. In which, continue to widely launch the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income", creating strong spillover effects among union members and workers; and at the same time pay attention to discovering, fostering, commending and replicating advanced examples, good practices, and effective models to create emulation motivation throughout the system.
Emphasizing the requirement to innovate trade union activities in the context of digital transformation, Mr. Thach Van Chung requested trade union levels to focus on effectively implementing two breakthroughs according to the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, in which specially promoting digital transformation, applying information technology and artificial intelligence in trade union activities; effectively exploiting and using the Mini Zalo OA App platform of Bac Ninh Trade Union to improve the quality of propaganda, connection and care for union members...
