However, Mr. Phan Duy Lai said that the current peak rainy season has caused many difficulties for the construction work. In addition, weak geology along the entire route also causes long waiting times for subsidence, affecting the progress of unloading and constructing crushed stone foundations.

Faced with these challenges, the My Thuan Project Management Board (PMU) has implemented a series of technical and organizational solutions to promote progress. The number of locomotives and rotors has been doubled to organize construction at night. At the same time, he directed the design consultant to calculate the height of the embankment to shorten the waiting time for subsidence.

At the same time, a peak emulation movement at the construction site is regularly launched, accompanied by a timely summary and reward mechanism to encourage the spirit of cadres and workers. Contractors and supervision consulting units have also had policies to pay reasonable salaries and bonuses to workers working overtime, thereby maintaining the construction pace.

Up to now, the main route has about 92km in the weak soil treatment phase, of which about 30% has been unloaded. The construction of the asphalt concrete layer has completed 14.5km. Of the 95 bridges on the entire route, to date, the bridge deck of 93 bridges has been completed.
