On September 12, the Trade Union of An Hai Ward, Da Nang City, said that it had just announced the decision to establish 2 new grassroots trade unions at businesses based in the area, contributing to expanding the Trade Union organization and increasing representatives for workers.
Two grassroots trade unions were established at Toan Cau Industrial Construction Co., Ltd. and Ha An Equipment Co., Ltd.
Mr. Do Duc Tinh - Chairman of An Hai Ward Trade Union - requested the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions to soon develop operating regulations, assign specific tasks; proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers.
Grassroots trade unions are also required to coordinate with businesses to well implement regimes and policies, care for life, working conditions and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
The establishment of 2 more grassroots trade unions continues to contribute to the development of union members, expanding the network of trade union organizations in An Hai ward, directing activities to be increasingly close to businesses and workers.
