From July 1, Da Nang International Airport will officially deploy an unstop automatic toll collection system (ETC) at the two toll stations Nguyen Van Linh and Duy Tan, to improve operational efficiency, reduce congestion and increase convenient experience for passengers.
The application of ETC is a specific step in the digital transformation roadmap, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions, make toll collection transparent and optimize the time for vehicles entering and exiting the airport, especially during the peak tourist season in the summer of 2025.
The structure of the toll collection system is as follows: At Nguyen Van Linh station, lanes 1 and 2 are mixed lanes (cash fee, no cash and ETC); lanes 3 and 4 are automatic lanes. At Duy Tan station, lane 5 is a mixed lane; lanes 6 and 7 are automatic lanes.
Automatic payment methods include: valid ETC card (e-Tag of VETC or VDTC ePass), QR code ( via e-wallet or banking application), domestic NAPAS card (no need to enter PIN). Drivers need to ensure that the vehicle has a valid ETC card and has enough balance; otherwise, they can pay directly via POS in the lane.
Da Nang International Airport also recommends that taxi drivers, transportation and travel businesses... proactively apply ETC cards to vehicles, disseminate information to drivers, and coordinate with authorities to ensure safe and convenient traffic.
Da Nang International Airport also calls on passengers and drivers to actively use the ETC lane, joining hands to build a modern, civilized, cashless transportation environment at the airport.
