The Northern qualifying round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament witnessed an impressive and brave performance by two representatives from Bac Ninh.
After overcoming the intense rounds, both the Bac Ninh 1 and Bac Ninh 2 Trade Unions registered together for the National Final Round held in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of October.
Thus, 6 representatives from the North won tickets to the national finals in Ho Chi Minh City, including: Hai Phong Trade Union, Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union, Vietnam Bank Trade Union, People's Public Security Trade Union, Hanoi Trade Union, Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union.
Taking place from October 3 to 5, in Hanoi, the Northern qualifying round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament will gather the 16 strongest teams in the region.
The two teams representing Bac Ninh province, Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union and Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union, entered the tournament with careful preparation and high determination.
The Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union team showed resilience and effective play. Despite fierce matches, Bac Ninh 1 took advantage of opportunities, especially in decisive matches, to win one of the official tickets, winning the regional third prize.
As for the Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union team, facing strong opponents, the team fought with all their might. The team has excellently taken advantage of the opportunity in the Play-off round (for the teams that lost in the quarter-finals) to win a ticket to continue.
The fact that both teams have qualified to participate in the Final Round is not only a reward for the efforts of the players and the coaching staff, but also affirms the growth of the provincial Trade Union sports movement.
The Final round in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of October will be where the two Bac Ninh teams will face the strongest representatives from the Central and Southern regions.
This event is not only sporty and health-enhancing, but also a valuable opportunity for union members and workers in Bac Ninh to exchange, learn, and demonstrate the dynamic and united image of the province's workers and civil servants in the national arena.
