At the conference, Hai Duong Industrial Zone Trade Union commended and rewarded 103 collectives and individuals with many outstanding achievements in the production labor emulation movement, building a strong union organization in the period of 2020–2025. Of which, 14 collectives and 89 individuals received certificates of merit from the Union of Industrial Zones of the province.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hoi - Chairman of Hai Duong Industrial Zone Trade Union said that in the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement among workers, officials, workers and commendation work of trade unions has had many positive changes, trade unions have actively renovated, creating many diverse emulation movements, close to the practice and needs of workers.
Many practical movements have brought significant efficiency, such as more than 67,000 technical improvement projects to benefit trillions of dong; maintain well cultural and sports activities; ensure labor safety with hundreds of inspections and supervision; focus on taking care of female workers' lives.
Every year, over 80% of union members achieve the title of "Excellent Trade Union members"; More than 85% of women achieved the title of "good at water, housework"; 100% of grassroots trade unions launched emulation to celebrate major political events, contributing to improving the efficiency of production and building a strong trade union organization.
In parallel with that, the work of occupational safety and sanitation is taken seriously. In 5 years, 315 inspections and supervision on labor protection and fire prevention were implemented. Trade Union also coordinated with businesses to organize hundreds of communication and training sessions to raise awareness for workers.
This conference praised this time not only an opportunity to recognize and honor typical individuals and collectives but also an opportunity to spread the spirit of patriotic emulation and inspiration so that every member of the union and workers continued to make efforts, creativity and contribute to the sustainable development of businesses and Hai Duong province in the coming time.
