In the first 4 months of 2026, Hai Phong Employment Service Center will continue to carry out consulting and job introduction work regularly directly at the Center and online through the center's website and social networking platforms, ensuring continuous professional activities and meeting the needs of workers and businesses. The city is estimated to organize 35 job transaction sessions with 418 businesses participating, recruitment demand is about 130,240 workers. In April alone, 10 job transaction sessions were organized, including 7 periodic job transaction sessions at the center; 3 online job transaction sessions connecting provinces and cities with 70 businesses participating in recruitment. Recruitment demand is about 7,000 workers, labor supply at the exchange is about 13,890 workers.
Functional agencies issued 1,540 new work permits, re-issued 50 work permits, extended 230 work permits, confirmed that 18 foreign workers working in Vietnam are not eligible for work permits in the 4 months of 2026. At the same time, received 185 sets of dossiers registering for product and goods quality inspection; received 170 sets of dossiers from 170 units declaring the use of machinery and equipment with strict requirements. In 4 months, there were 4 labor accidents in the city, causing 4 deaths (an increase of 1 accident and 1 death compared to the same period in 2025).
