According to the Hai Chau District Labor Union, Da Nang City, on February 28, this unit contacted workers of Dic central Vietnam Co., Ltd. to learn about the incident.
According to the representative of the Hai Chau District Trade Union, Dic Central Vietnam Co., Ltd. has a branch at No. 2, Quang Trung Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City. This unit has been operating in Da Nang for 16 years and currently has about 45 IT staff.
However, on February 27, this unit summoned these engineers and announced the closure of the branch, causing all workers here to lose their jobs in just 2 hours.
"Noting the closure of the branch without notifying 45 days in advance for an indefinite-term contract and 30 days in advance for a term contract is not in accordance with the provisions of law," said a representative of the Hai Chau District Trade Union.
