Quy Binh was born in 2018. He was born into a family of 9 siblings, he is the 8th child. He once said that when he was young, his family was very poor, making a living by farming and raising livestock. At her young age, Quy Binh often rowed a boat to transport straws for hire, helping her parents earn extra income.
Although no one in his family is in the arts, he soon showed his acting talent. After graduating from high school, he registered to take the entrance exam to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema. At first, he joined the army. After a period of convincing his family, he was accepted by relatives to pursue his dream.
He started to become famous on the small screen with the movie The Doctor, The Golden Lake Law (2007), The Light Road (2008). Two works by director Phuong Dien - Even if the wind blows, Ca Ro, I love you! - bringing Quy Binh's name closer to the public.
In addition to TV series, Quy Binh also participated in film projects: Next year, my child returns 2014 by director Tran Ngoc Giau, Cuong tim mau 2014 by director Victor Vu, bao lai co nhau 2016 by director Dustin Nguyen.
He won awards: "Best Actor" at the National Experimental Theater Festival in 2008, "Most Favorite Comedian" at HTV Awards 2012, "Best Actor" at the Golden Kite Awards 2012 ( film "Marching Through the dark", TV Actor of Mai Vang Awards 2015, "Best Actor" at the Vietnam Film Festival 2017 ( film "When Will You Love Each Other". In addition to acting in films, he also sang and won the 2016 Bolero Love Championship.
In addition to his role as an actor, Quy Binh is also a host. In 2016, he and MC Trac Thuy Mieu were MCs of the solo program with Bolero.
In 2019, he hosted the show Thay loi muon noi with MC Thanh Phuong. He replaced MC Quynh Huong after 19 years of working with the program.
In 2024, he was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in the 10th award ceremony.
