Song Doc 2 bridge construction site - one of the two longest bridges on the entire route - became even more bustling. Under the harsh sun of the Mekong Delta, groups of workers focused on constructing drilled piles, foundations and beam casting platforms, ensuring progress according to plan.

Engineer Nguyen Van Dat said that the goal of construction throughout Tet was determined from the beginning to ensure the overall progress of the project. "Although working throughout Tet, the Command still organizes encouragement activities, creating a warm atmosphere, helping brothers reduce homesickness," Mr. Dat said.
After each working day, simple meals right at the construction site have become a spiritual support for workers. The Tet atmosphere at the construction site is simple but warm, imbued with comradeship.
Lieutenant Colonel Phan Ngoc Dung - Deputy Director of the Truong Son Nam Department - said that the unit thoroughly grasped the drastic spirit according to the direction of the Prime Minister and the Command of the 12th Corps. The construction units have mobilized sufficient manpower and machinery, organized continuous "3 shifts, 4 teams" overnight and during Tet throughout the project. The command board always closely monitors the scene, eating and working with the workers, thereby encouraging morale and raising responsibility for the project to be completed on schedule.

Currently, the Ca Mau - Cai Nuoc section has mobilized more than 200 engineers and workers along with nearly 100 machines and equipment. Key items include service roads, organic excavation, auxiliary yards; the bridge section focuses on constructing bored piles, beam casting platforms and bridge foundations.
Although celebrating Tet away from home, amidst the bustling labor atmosphere at the construction site, Truong Son soldiers and workers are still confident in bringing the project to completion on schedule, opening up new development momentum for the southernmost region of the Fatherland.
The Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway project has a length of 81km, a scale of 4 lanes, two emergency stop lanes, a design speed of 100km/h, divided into 2 projects including: Ca Mau - Cai Nuoc Project (42km) and Cai Nuoc - Dat Mui Project (39km). Truong Son Nam Board is the construction unit of the Ca Mau - Cai Nuoc component project with a total length of 42km.
