In order to take care of union members, workers, civil servants, and employees (Union members, employees, workers, and employees) during the Lunar New Year 2025, with the motto "All union members and employees have Tet", on January 19, Hue City Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" and "Union Tet Market" with the participation of thousands of union members, employees, civil servants, and employees.
This year, the Hue City Labor Federation organized a series of activities to care for Tet, including: Visiting, giving gifts, and wishing Tet to Party members and workers by leaders of the Party, State, General Confederation, and National Assembly delegations; organizing delegations to visit and encourage businesses facing difficulties and making great efforts to take good care of workers' lives.
Visiting and giving gifts to social protection centers; implementing the program "Online Trade Union Tet Market", supporting 2,570 union members and employees, each union member was given a voucher worth 500,000 VND to buy goods.
The highlight was the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market, when the Hue City Labor Federation gave Tet gifts to nearly 2,500 union members, including cash and necessities with a total value of nearly 1.5 billion VND.
At the same time, nearly 600 million VND was awarded to support the construction and repair of 25 "Union Shelters". In addition, there were dozens of welfare booths, "zero-dong booths", and booths with discounts of 10% or more, creating space for union members and workers to visit and shop.
Folk games, traditional banh tet and ginger jam making contests promise to add to the bustling, warm, intimate and familiar atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday.
Thereby, the program continues to affirm the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in taking care of union members and employees during Tet; creating motivation and encouraging union members and employees to work with a high sense of responsibility and efficiency, improving labor productivity, product quality, and uniting to build agencies, units and enterprises to develop more and more.
In particular, the program strengthens trust and connection between employees and trade unions, attracting employees to join the Vietnam Trade Union.
The Trade Union Tet Market provides essential, quality goods and services at preferential prices, giving away shopping vouchers, zero-price products, discounts, organizing cultural and sports activities, giving gifts, health consultations... for Union members and workers.
At the Trade Union Tet Market, there are 24 booths with diverse and abundant products and goods, ensuring quality and food hygiene and safety; clear origin of goods; selling prices lower than listed prices on the market (at least 10% discount); ensuring the quantity supplied at the Trade Union Tet Market booth.
On the same day, Hue City Labor Federation organized the Banh Tet Wrapping and Cooking Contest, Ginger Jam Making Contest, and the "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party" Program for union members and laborers in economic zones and industrial parks.
