In 2024, the Trade Union at all levels of Thua Thien Hue province has implemented many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
Specifically, 18,189 union members and workers in difficult circumstances have been cared for and supported by trade unions at all levels with a total amount of more than 11 billion VND. Along with that, tens of thousands of workers have enjoyed welfare programs, incentives, and discounts signed by the union with units and businesses.
In particular, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, more than 48,908 union members and employees enjoyed Tet care activities organized by the union, with a total budget of more than 10.2 billion VND, of which more than 4,000 union members and employees in difficult circumstances were supported by unions at all levels, taking care of Tet with a budget of more than 2 billion VND.
Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue Labor Federation Le Minh Nhan informed that the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and "Tet Union Market" in 2025 will be organized by the Provincial Labor Federation on January 19, 2025 (December 20 of the Lunar calendar) at the Event Organization Center - Provincial Labor Culture House, with the expectation of creating a spread in the social community, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.
Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue Labor Federation Le Minh Nhan requested that the activities in the program must be practical, safe, diverse, impressive, economical, creating a strong spread in the community. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the mobilization of social resources and support from partners, organizations, individuals and businesses to implement the program. Trade unions at all levels will proactively organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" with diverse, rich, practical forms, suitable to the actual situation in industries, localities and units, ensuring safety, economy, efficiency, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate during the peak period from January 12 to 26, 2025.
The Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that through the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" in 2025, it will contribute to affirming the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in taking care of union members and workers during Tet. At the same time, it will motivate and encourage union members and workers to work with a high sense of responsibility and efficiency, improve labor productivity, product quality, unite to build agencies, units and businesses to develop more and more; strengthen the trust and connection between union members and workers with the Trade Union organization, attract workers to join the Vietnam Trade Union.
