On September 15, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology (CĐKHCN) held a meeting to deploy the propaganda program "Journey of aspirations 2026" to honor typical workers and thank companions in 2026.
According to the CĐKHCN, the program "Journey of Aspirations 2026" will honor workers with outstanding achievements, and at the same time recognize the companionship of leaders of agencies, units, and businesses in caring for life, jobs and creating conditions for workers to develop their abilities.
According to the plan, the program will take place on September 18 and 19, 2026, the honoring ceremony will be broadcast live on the evening of September 19. This is an activity that the S&T Union has maintained for many years, especially in the last 3 years there has been innovation in organizational form, strengthening communication and live broadcasting to spread more widely the stories and achievements of workers.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tho - Vice Chairman of the S&T Union said that the focus of the program is to honor workers in the industry who have achieved achievements, contributions and achieved excellent results in 2025.
According to Mr. Tho, behind the results of workers is always the companionship of employers. The fact that businesses, agencies, and units create working conditions, have policies to care for and pay attention to workers' lives is one of the factors contributing to the overall results.
If employees have good results and complete their tasks well, then accompanying them are employers who have created conditions and have many policies and good care regimes. Only when both work results and the lives of employees are guaranteed can it affect the overall achievements of the industry" - Mr. Tho shared.
At the "Journey of Aspirations 2026", 183 individuals who are typical workers of the science and technology industry will be honored. Individuals from many agencies and units in the system, including businesses, scientific research units, press and media agencies and units under the industry.
In addition, the program also honored and thanked 46 individuals who are leaders of agencies, units, and businesses who have accompanied, coordinated and made many contributions to trade union activities, especially in the work of caring for union members and workers in the 2024-2025 period.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tho emphasized that communication work before this year's program will focus on the achievements, initiatives, labor results and contribution efforts of the honored individuals; and at the same time clarify the role of employers in creating an environment for workers to develop their abilities.
