In 2015, Hai Phong was one of 10 provinces and cities implementing phase 1 of the Project "Supporting the development of private independent youth groups in industrial parks and export processing zones". After 2020, Hai Phong is the only locality in the country to continue implementing phase 2 associated with the Preschool Education Development Project for the period 2021-2025.
Over the past 10 years, 100 private independent preschool groups have been improved, licensed to operate, supported with teaching equipment and equipment worth more than 5.6 billion VND. The owners of the youth groups have invested in renovating and upgrading facilities, from kitchens, playgrounds, toilets, to school supplies and equipment, creating increasingly safe and quality child-rearing spaces with a budget of more than 40 billion VND.
The Association organized more than 200 training sessions, 450 communication activities, 100 professional training courses, a series of dialogues, seminars, forums, targeting tens of thousands of female workers, parents, teachers, caregivers, association officials, leaders of government committees, localities and departments, branches, and unions. The project not only improves the quality of private preschools, but also contributes to narrowing the gap between public and private preschools, towards a modern, comprehensive, fair preschool education, taking children as the center.
Also at the program, the City Women's Union summarized 15 years of implementing the Campaign "Building a 5-No, 3-Clean Family" for the period 2010 - 2025, associated with the National Target Program on New Rural Development.
The campaign "Building a 5-no, 3-clean family" was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union in 2010, and has now become a movement with profound influence, contributing to changing awareness and behavior, building a prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy family, actively contributing to the results of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas of the city.
The Association has managed more than VND3,000 billion in credit at all levels, supported nearly 64,000 women to borrow capital for economic development, helped more than 10,000 women escape poverty and near-poor households, and supported start-ups for more than 4,300 women. At the same time, build nearly 900 shelters of love, maintain 991 models of roads and alleys managed by women, along with many models of "Green Living", "Green Trash Binh", "Green House"...
Women's unions at all levels have implemented 2,338 projects to build civilized new urban rural areas, including 479 model flower routes with a length of nearly 110 km, planting more than 80,000 trees, donating 70,700 m2 of land to build rural roads... After 15 years, nearly 334,000 households have met the criteria of "5,5,3 clean families" and "5 yes,3 clean families"...
At the conference, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the project "Supporting the development of private independent youth groups in industrial parks and export processing zones" and the campaign "Building a 5-no, 3-clean family" were commended and rewarded by the City Women's Union.
