A source from the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union on August 4 said that the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union has just held a handover ceremony of the Trade Union Shelter to workers of Binh Long Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. with difficult housing circumstances.
The person receiving the Trade Union Shelter is Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Dao, a worker in Production Area 1, Dong No Team of Binh Long Rubber One Member Co., Ltd.
The house is located in So Nhi Hamlet, Binh Long Ward, Dong Nai Province with an area of 70 m2, with a total construction cost of nearly 300 million VND, of which the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union supported 50 million VND from the "Union Shelter" fund, the company supported 20 million VND, the remaining amount was accumulated by the family and borrowed from relatives.
On this occasion, the Company's Trade Union, the Team and the Dong No Team's Trade Union presented the family with essential gifts to serve their daily life and activities.
Mr. Le Van Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union - said that in 2025, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union decided to support the Trade Union of Binh Long Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. with 300 million VND to build 6 Trade Union Shelters to give to workers in difficult housing circumstances.
