Learning from Uncle Ho "saying and doing", all work is directed towards workers

Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An said that learning from Uncle Ho, following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality, and style is easy but not simple at all.

For trade unions and trade union officials, it is closeness and sharing for each individual worker. When they are in difficulty, give them opportunities, when they contribute, elevate their worthy position. Following Uncle Ho's thought is: Before thinking about the sea, let's unleash the source for small canals to have large rivers. From grassroots trade unions, "small canals" are each direct worker and trade unions must find ways to unlock and create sources for them. That is creating opportunities for them to firmly master their skills and be proactive in professional labor," Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An shared.

Also according to Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An, trade union officials need to think about what employees are expecting, say things that employees feel close to, and do things that employees feel are practical. In particular, trade union officials learn from Uncle Ho not far away: Simple, sincere, saying and doing, not formalistic, dogmatic, all tasks are directed towards employees. That is the ideology, style, and ethics that each trade union official needs to have if they want to achieve success when deploying activities at the grassroots level.

Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An shared that learning from Uncle Ho the ideology of "saying and doing", he himself always strives and makes efforts to "realize" the guidelines, goals, and orientations set out by the Vietnam Education Union in caring for union members and workers. From the policy - "saying", to turning it into "doing", especially in new and difficult tasks, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An constantly strives and cultivates himself; mobilizing the consensus from the Executive Committee of the Industry Trade Union, from each union member and worker. Thanks to that, in the past time, the care policies and mobilization programs of the Vietnam Education Union have all been successful.

Not only striving to do and do well the assigned work, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An also shared difficulties with colleagues, removed the thoughts and concerns... of each person so that each individual and collective can achieve the best results, the clearest mark and must be recognized by the entire industry.

Being a trade union official is not difficult, but being a good trade union official is not easy at all. That is also the motivation for me to strive to find ways to innovate trade union activities in the education sector to be most suitable for the needs of union members in the sector.

Through promoting digital transformation in approaching union members in schools to identify difficulties, thereby having the right and accurate way to care; shifting the content of the concept of "care" to supporting and creating conditions for teachers and scientists to remove difficulties in professional labor, strengthen personal capacity to meet the requirements set by the profession and society in the context of renovation... is a new approach that the Vietnam Education Union always receives support from the grassroots level. Thanks to that, workers have the opportunity to express their personal values; trade union officials are met with personal needs at a high level (being dedicated, being creative, being recognized by the community)", said Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An.
