Attending and directly communicating at the conference were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, along with about 150 delegates who are leaders, union officials from the provincial to grassroots levels and representatives of employers.
At the conference, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu disseminated the basic contents and new points of the Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law.

The contents focus on the purpose, layout, scope of regulation, and subjects of application of the Trade Union Law; New policies and regulations related to the Trade Union organization and workers' rights; Important new points of the Law on Social Insurance; Rights and responsibilities of Trade Unions in implementing social insurance policies.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized that these are two important laws, not only creating a legal foundation for trade union activities but also directly related to the rights of union members, workers and social security policies. Therefore, trade union officials need to grasp and apply it effectively in practice.
After the training course, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor hopes that the trainees will continue to propagate and raise awareness for union members and workers at the grassroots level. At the same time, if inadequacies or unreasonable points are discovered in the implementation of the two laws, it is necessary to proactively make recommendations to contribute to the improvement of the legal system.
At the conference, lecturers asked many questions for students to answer, while listening and answering questions raised by students.

There were 9 questions discussed by students and lecturers, focusing on practical issues such as adding heavy and toxic occupational groups; conditions for organizing trade union activities and new points of the two laws.
The contents were discussed enthusiastically and frankly, helping students absorb knowledge effectively.
The training conference is an important activity to help union officials and workers understand changes in legal policies, thereby improving the effectiveness of union activities and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers.
